Had a wonderful dinner here! Food was delicious: oyster stew, oysters Rockefeller, seafood bouillabaisse, seafood linguine, and mud pie brownie. My partner was happy that they let her customize her pasta dish (subbing the pesto sauce with a tomato based sauce). Our server Melody was very friendly and attentive. Other staff members were also great about refilling water, clearing dishes, etc...We only wish this restaurant was closer to the Seattle area. But we'll definitely be back next time we visit the Olympic Peninsula!
Great food and wine service is on top of everything. Good menu selection Can be tough to get table need reservations
Food was great I don't like prawns but gosh that was one of the best things ever tried. Halibut was amazing. Service was great huge shout out to the buss boy, great presentation of the desserts! View is breathtaking very nice and warm ambiance they found us table without reservations!
How would we find these places without Yelp?!? Took the morning Coho Ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles (with dog - so much fun) so arrived around noon. Found a well-rated restaurant a few minutes away from the ferry terminal and stumbled across a great spot with amazing views, even had grass areas for the dog. Had an off-menu saluted cod stuffed/topped with loca D-crab (all SO fresh) & of course oysters rockefeller. AMAZING FOOD- SO TASTY, VERY NICE PEOPLE, HIDDEN BUT POPULAR.
This is one of my wife and I's new favorite restaurants and we couldn't be more excited about moving to the area literally a few miles down the road. This will definitely be one of our "joints". We've eaten here about 5 times now and every time has been fantastic. Everything on their menu has been fantastic. Well crafted, delicious, incredible service. It is a small place, so reservations are recommended, but an awesome view of the water as well. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, but my personal faves are the fried green beans, anything with their halibut, and their fries and ranch are great.
If you're looking for seafood in an old school by the bay Fish restaurant, then come here. Dockside has been going strong for decades for a good reason.(s) We had terrific service from I think it was Nate/Matt. He takes care of my mom and her companion for Sunday brunch often. top shelf service The views are lovely. We even had a couple of seals swim nearby as we enjoyed our visit I love mushrooms, especially chanterelles, but I would encourage them to offer it with just a simple, garlic, olive oil, and Rosemary. You don't get to enjoy them when it's full of this cream sauce. It's just basically creamy mush with Parmesan butter toast. So it's just too many flavors. Very rich We added some balsamic vinegar on top which was a great way to contrast the richness Not much for a vegan except maybe simple salad. I love how they take care of my mom and her friend every Sunday. I appreciate the warm, welcoming and the great service. The views and the old school charm of the place are additional pluses Hopefully they will offer some of the vegetable specials with an option of olive oil and garlic instead of cream / butter
Glad we decided to visit this place for our lunch. We called ahead and inquired if they would be able to accommodate a few vegetarians in our group and they gladly agreed. Our table for 9 was ready when we arrived. For drinks they had a pretty elaborate selection including seasonal ones. Fleur Goblins was a favorite on our table. For appetizers we went with the two mushroom appetizers they had on the seasonal menu and the green string beans. We loved the green string beans. For entrees we got a couple of mushroom raviolis (they gladly served it with roasted seasonal veggies instead of chicken), fettuccine alfredos and chefs tacos. The cream sauce of the raviolis was so flavorful. They also served us freshly baked bread upon request. They had quite an exquisite selection for desserts. We opted for mud pie and crème brûlée. Ambiance is cozy and the view is great. Service was extremely patient, attentive and friendly.
Been there many times, but it had been a while. We were in the area. They are currently open noon to 4p, so we ended up having lunch. The menu was similar to a dinner menu. Everything was so good. Started with calamari that was enough to share came with cocktail sauce and a little salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette. We ate everything g on the plate. Main menu was a seafood salad with crab, prawns, scallops. I had the expresso rubbed ribeye which was excellent. Came with some little potatoes and a zucchini and yellow squash medley. We finished lunch with crème brûlée and a Affogato. Didn't have to eat the rest of the day! Everything was fresh, wine was good. Highly recommend, service is good, place is small, reservation deco Mended. never disappointed. Can't wait til next time
Went for a late lunch and only had to wait about 10 minutes. No problem, we walked on the outside deck and looked at the water. We were seated in the back room, which was unfortunate, but our server was made up for it. She was always smiling and very attentive to all of us in the room. We had the special which was an open face wagyu steak sandwich with au jus. It was delicious. We started with a house salad with blue cheese and the salad was crisp and fresh with a bit of stick carrots and cherry tomatoes and some sprouts on top. It was very good. I had 2 glasses of the merlot and it was so tasty and generous pours! We loved our lunch so much that we even talked about going back for dinner. Unfortunately they close at 4p.
